Before you turn on your oven to cook a meal, don’t forget to give it a quick inspection. Accumulation from spills can lead to an oven fire. If a fire ever does break out in your oven, turn it off, keep the door closed and keep an eye on the flame — if it doesn’t go out on its own quickly, call 911.
