Huntington is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the Town of Huntington in Suffolk County, New York. Huntington Station was the birthplace of poet Walt Whitman. His home remains there as a museum. Across from the museum on Route 110 are the Walt Whitman Shops, a mall.
